Welcome to our blog! This blog follows the adventures of two sisters who love to bake. Liora and I, (Quincey) have always enjoyed baking together. Being 14 years apart it was an activity that allowed us to bond even with the difference in our ages.
When Liora was 4 we named Tuesday’s ‘treat Tuesday’. Every Tuesday we found a new treat to bake. On the days we weren’t baking we spent our time watching YouTube baking videos that would feed our inspiration.
Every Tuesday Liora would pull up a chair to the counter. I would measure the ingredients and Liora would pour them into the bowl. When the baking was done we took turns licking the bowl and took a picture with our treat.
Fast forward 6 years and Liora no longer needs to pull up a chair. Instead of her being my ‘assistant’ we take turns being each other’s assistants. Liora has established her own love of baking and is turning into quite the baking expert.
This blog is a way for us to document our baking adventures. As Liora and I continue to create recipes and bake we want a way to look back and remember our time in the kitchen. Since baking has always been a bonding experience for us, this blog is a way for us to remember and look back on our fun memories.
It’s about exploring creativity and figuring out what works and what doesn’t. Not every recipe recorded is going to be one you want to bring to the the next family gathering. But sometimes, in order to find the best recipes you need to make many mediocre recipes in the process.
This is meant to be a way for my sister and I to look back on the recipes we made and remember the memories attached to them. If our fails and successes are able to bring a smile to your face and allow you to create memories in the kitchen than I’m glad you’re joining us on our journey through baking.
